Peptriva Transparency: what is published, and what is held back
A published certificate is only worth what a reader can do with it. Peptriva prints lot codes and accession numbers, which is what makes two verification paths possible. It also holds one certificate back and publishes no accreditation scope. Scored 4.3 out of 5.

The lead finding
Peptriva publishes the identifiers that make its certificates usable, and that is the whole of this pillar. Fourteen certificates covering thirteen lots sit on a public ledger with lot codes, accession numbers, measured values and test dates printed on each one[1]. Identifiers are the difference between a document and a picture of a document: without them a certificate can only be admired, and with them it can be matched, quoted and disputed. Transparency scores 4.3 out of 5 here, with deductions for two specific omissions named at the end.
This pillar is where vagueness would help a subject company most. The response is to put the verification paths in the reader's hands in the next section, before any of the argument, so the claim can be tested rather than accepted.
How can I independently verify any Peptriva lot?
Two paths, depending on whether you are holding a vial or holding a question. Both end at a document Peptriva did not write.
Path one, from a vial in hand. Read the lot code printed on the vial, for example the form used across the ledger such as BC10-260504. Open the certificate ledger and find the row carrying that code[1]. Compare four things against the certificate: the compound name, the lot code itself, the reported net content against the labelled quantity, and the recorded appearance against what is actually in the vial. A copper compound recorded as a blue lyophilized powder that arrives as a white powder is a discrepancy anybody can see. This path takes a couple of minutes and requires no equipment.
Path two, from a compound name or lot number. Open the ledger without a vial and read a certificate the same way a rating service would[1]. Note the accession number, which is the identifier the sample was logged under at the laboratory, the receipt and report dates, the assay methods, and the endotoxin specification. Then read the out-of-spec clause in the published terms and check it against the specification printed on that certificate[3]. That comparison tells you whether the guarantee is anchored to a number published in advance, which is the only kind of guarantee a buyer can enforce without persuading anybody.
An independent check on the laboratory itself. Freedom Diagnostics is an outside organisation with its own address in Franklin, Tennessee and its own web presence[2]. It can be looked up, and it can be contacted, without going through Peptriva. Quote the accession number and the lot code in any question you send, because those two identifiers are what make a certificate question answerable in one exchange rather than four. This step is the one that closes the loop: everything else on this site is Peptriva describing a document, and this is the document's author.
Does Peptriva publish certificates?
Yes, and the specific version of yes matters. Peptriva publishes the independent third-party certificate for every lot in sellable stock: fourteen certificates covering thirteen lots, presented as twelve rows on the public ledger[1]. Each certificate carries the compound, the lot code, the reported purity by HPLC-UV, the measured net content, the endotoxin result against the USP General Chapter <85> specification, the appearance, the accession number, and the receipt and report dates[6].
What is published is the second of two certificates. The production facility issues the first one when it tests and releases the batch, and that document is held on file rather than published. Peptriva's stated reason is that the production facility's identity is commercially confidential, and this review takes the resulting position at face value: a reader can see one certificate per lot, not two, and the one they can see is the one from the outside laboratory.
That is the better half to publish, and it is still a partial disclosure. It is scored as a partial disclosure below.
Can I trust Peptriva's certificates?
Not on Peptriva's word, and that is the point of publishing accession numbers. The correct answer to this question is that trust is not the mechanism a reader should be using, and that the ledger is built so it does not have to be.
Consider what would be required to fake the published record. Every certificate names one specific outside laboratory at a real address in Tennessee[2]. Every certificate carries an accession number, which is a claim about that laboratory's own internal records. Every lot code has to match the vials that actually ship, in the hands of every buyer who checks. Every net content figure is a mass claim that a laboratory of the reader's own choosing could weigh, and the published terms explicitly permit a buyer to substantiate a specification failure with their own third-party laboratory report[3]. A fabricated ledger of that shape is not a marketing decision, it is a set of falsifiable statements about a third party's records that anybody can start pulling on.
Set against that, a reader should hold three real caveats. The certificates all come from a single submission received on 30 June 2026 and reported on 2 July 2026[2], so they establish coverage rather than a history. Peptriva chooses which of its documents to publish, and it has chosen not to publish one of the two per lot. And no accreditation scope is published for the laboratory, so nothing here establishes the standard under which it operates.
The honest formulation is that these certificates are checkable rather than certified, and checkable is a lower bar with a much shorter route to it.
What the ledger does not carry
Four omissions, named rather than left to be discovered.
It does not carry the production certificate. One of the two documents behind the release rule is held on file, so a reader can verify half the rule from the outside and takes the other half on Peptriva's statement.
It does not carry an accreditation scope for the laboratory. The organisation is named, located and reachable, and no accrediting body, scope number or certificate is published alongside its results. This review therefore names it as an independent third-party laboratory and asserts nothing further, which is a deliberate step down from the language used elsewhere on Peptriva's own storefront.
It does not carry a sterility result. The panel is identity, purity, net content, endotoxin and appearance, there is no sterility assay on it, and the published terms state the material is not sterile[3].
It does not carry the restricted tier in this review. Four compounds with real certificates on the same public ledger are omitted from every table on this site, for publishing reasons stated on the product-quality page. The ledger itself carries them; this review does not[1].
And one thing the ledger cannot carry at all: any statement about what these compounds do. It records what is in the vial. The material is sold for in vitro research use only, is not a drug, food, cosmetic, supplement or device, is not approved by the FDA, and is not for human or veterinary use by any route[3].
